Simply click the start game button in the bottom center of your host screen. Note that this is sometimes obscured by the share-screen menu of certain meeting platforms. These meeting controls can be easily moved or switched off.
We find the majority of players finish up drawing in 30-45 seconds. You will be able to see which players are still creating by the animated pencil icon next to their name. You can give players as much time as you like, but you can also prompt them to finish up with a simple time reminder.
Depending on how many rounds you play and how many participants are playing, games can range from 10 minutes to 30 minutes and beyond. An average round with 10 players lasts about 10 minutes (approximately 1 minute per person).
Player turns to share can be chosen by clicking their name on the left-hand side of the screen or by clicking the “randomize” button in the lower left, which is what we recommend.
Players can scan the QR code by simply opening their camera and capturing the code. No special app is needed.
You can also send them a direct link by right-clicking on “Game Link” below the QR code to copy the URL.
Game links can be shared via email, text, or directly in your meeting platform via the chat.
Have them refresh by swiping down. This should update their screen.
Click on the QR code on the bottom of the host screen, and the code will pop up to the left of the game board. Once the player rescans the code, they will be brought back into the game.
Simply click the “End Game” button in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. This will give players an opportunity to log their post-sentiment and download their art. Your host screen will advance to the game summary and artifact, which you can download and share.
